Milton Friedman's ideology has proven to be a massive failure. It is a false choice to say that anyone who disagrees is a "Communist who should be flogged in a gulag". Why do I either have to believe in a failed Utopian economic theory that creates mass poverty or I have to believe in Communism. None of it works.
ReplyDeleteWhat Friedman supports is radical neoclassical economics that says there will be winners and losers and the losers deserve no help. Let he losers die in the street. In Friedman's view the only ones deserving of "welfare" is millionaires and billionaires. You pay for the lavish handouts to the wealthy elite by forcing workers to give up more and more.
Friedman's flawed theories were what guided Alan Greenspan in his pursuit of ruining the US economy. At least Greenspan had the courage to admit that his whole economic philosophy was based off of false assumptions. Only a blind fool could still believe in this "free market" fundamentalism.
Communism sucks! And capitalism has morphed into a socialism for the rich that steals from the poor to pay the rich. What happened to Adam Smith? Capitalism has been dead for a long time! Milton Friedman is just as much of a Utopian thinker following an economic theory with no demonstrated cases of success as Lenin or Mao. Friedman is the enemy of working people everywhere!
Capitalism (as it has evolved) sucks! Communism sucks! We need a new system that actually works for everyone, not just those who can afford it.
Capitalism as it is in its present form, has ruined humanity.
ReplyDeleteIt has plundered the resources of the world. It has ruined the environment in its blind pursuit of plunder. Capitalism has created mass unemployment, reduced wages, and lowered the living standards of everyone. Capitalism has also created the largest profits the world has ever seen. Mass wealth for a few that is accumulated off of the exploited labor of the many. The people who create all of the wealth in society are then denied their share in the benefits of what they produce. Instead the wealthy elite steal all the excess profits for themselves.
Capitalism is just as stupid as Communism. Only a fool could believe in either of them!
Milton Friedman is a know nothing prick. His horrible ideas destroyed the middle class!
